STGCC drawing so close. Love Live invasion! Hahahaha first store bought costume finally! Generic series characters usage. The blazer is so comfortable. Tho a bit restricting on the shoulders and armpits. Luckily took a size bigger. Damn it if only there was 2 sizes bigger. The skirt is really nice! BUT. Hahahha its wayyyyy too short. It is lacking the underskirt too. Damn. The set came with the bows, and since I picked Nozomi set, I got the hair ties included too. The hair ties is exactly the material I wanted. Lol lucky for that too. But still had to modify the hair ties to a little more fluff ties.
Only today realised that Nozomi uses thigh high socks. Oh crap. Thats fine. Daiso trip tomorrow! And still lacking shoes and green lenses.

Hahahaahah I have a plan with that pink Ao no Exorcist skirt. Hurr~ and yay found my Uniqlo women top. Aahhh Uniqlo stuff are so much raburabu. Tried to do the tarot cards but I have seriously no idea how to do vectors on Gimp. Loser sia me.

Still contemplating if I wanna go on Sunday or not. I wanna do Thrandy DOS but but the lens and haven't fix the crown yet.

Okay back! While cosplaying Gundam is so suitable for Barrage events, the heat and sun gives us BBQ. Not really surprised at the lack of cosplayers presence there. And the variety of series is just sad. Lets just wait for bigger events, more chances of seeing older stuff. I think I prefer EOY when it was still the event at Expo.

So we accidentally went to the marathon. Its was a chance after a photog shared an event, where costumers are called to arms, dressed and stand to sit for the marathon. Oh mai gawddd yesh, so we signed up. Initially wanted to watch, but its expensive and... confirm parents don't let. But somehow can go in the end. hahaha wtf.
Kiyo went as Legolas, I went as Thranduil. No props, because... lazy. Hahaha its great to meet more awesome fans. And marathon is sooo goooooooddddd!
Accidentally won 2nd prize for a competition I didn't enter. Lol. But 1st prize was where eyes are all upon. Bloody hell.

I think this guy was the guy handing out people's polariod prints.

So done with crown...

All the berries painfully individually done + painted. Leaves I tried to do some transparent ones, but they seem a little bit too much, so omitting them out. 

Well... nice but but its damn retard to wear. /sobs sobs

So, all thats left to be done are... Everything else. (Excluding the wig of cos)

Clean up clean up every alt day

Cleaning up is the happiest me.

Compression at its best. After airing out my old costumes, into storage they goes.

And Daiso have the rubber balls. Well expensive much. Will be using only 1, so now idk what to do with the 9 other balls. So wasteful. /cries

How a detangle a wig

Before, pretty messy after out from storage. All those waves and devil knots.

After, glad to say that its smooth and tangle free~ 

I find it best to comb out your wig when its quite damp from the wash. I no longer uses a metal brush to comb out wigs. Use a wide toothed plastic comb, which is also what you would to comb out real wet hair. 

Hahaha then part the wig into sections. Start untangling from the bottom and work upwards. When a section is untangled successfully, use a hair iron to iron out the entire section. Now its smooth and ensure that the frizzes (if any) is also straightened. Mind the iron temperature! I set mine to 150 deg Celsius. If your wig can withstand up to 200 or more by all means set to what ever temperature that is convenient. No idea what temperature this particular wig is able to withstand actually. When all is smooth, I sprayed silicone lubricant onto the wig. This will act pretty much like a detangler. Comb the area to even out the lubricant and the finally iron out the section after lubricating. 

Taa-daa all done! Well for this particular section of the wig. Proceed with the rest of the wig. 

Obviously a LOT of patience is required here. I took 6 hours for the entire process including the wash. Of cos, the time varies with length and severity of the wig. 

Ps:  Air out the wig after you are done. The silicone lubricant have an unpleasant odour. Don't inhale the fumes too. Do it outdoors or something, unless you don't mind dying at a young age like me  ;D

Lens post again!

Need to get more new lens to replace the old one. But before everything gets thrown away... must log in some history. Using blog as data base. Hahaha! Very convenient for me.

Okay here I have Luxury 17 in Violet for database review.
Lens water content only 45%. Diameter 17mm. But it doesn't seem to differ much from the 15mm I had for other lens.
Hahaha can still goes 'wide eyed' and taa-daa full lens may just fall out from eyes. Kk that won't happen irl. Lawl lame.
and I freaking rabu rabu lens with yellow burst in the center. I can't remember if it is a 2-tone or a 3-tone lens though. Looks obvious in pictures. Very obvious. But just.. not the colour.

Oh yeshhh Hahaha the 'fashion shoot' OTL actually its fun to tour ppl ard. Hat switch with Kiyo hell yeah! 

Lens is obvious much. Colour not obvious. Probably will get more intense violet coloured ones next time. This can probably pass off as saturated pink (my opinion). Oh the lens make my eye dry really really fast. 

And I get annoyed at people who goes:Wah! Your eyes really dry you know. You should get eye drops. I used eye drops all the time. Balh blah blah -i punch you in my head a lot of time you just don't know- Look at the fucks I am giving.  -rolls eye 360 and back-

I got this in grey too. Unopened still. Hahah 

And this is Luxury 12 in Green review for database history. 

Very very very nice colour! Can't remember the water content for it. But eyes are less dry than the violet Luxury 17. 

Once again, a yellow burst center. But the edges are much finer. This time, trying for colours that seem to 'break into rays'. I still prefer solid even after trying. But nice lens, are nice. Colour close to young grass.

Lens are softer in texture. Almost flimsy. Almost. 

Hahahahah its that ACM Fest picture, because I realised that SnK not that satisfactory. There its not that luminous obvious. Just sort of dusty and just there. 

Used Is for Eren Jeager too.

Using this lens more for casual because its comfortable. Its starting to get itchy though now. Oh wait... 6 months of use. 

ACM Day 1 (2014)

ACM Curefest Day 1

Basically, I remembers vividly only KANAME related things on that day. Overwrite at its best. 

The main highlight of Asia Cospaly Meet are the team cosplay competition between the different countries, and more competitions I am not sure if there is a solo cosplay competition. of cos I came down in the end for KANAME.

 

Woke up pretty late because felt damn odd and tired. Then the rest of my siblings are going out too. So... I might as well go out on head down to Marina. Deciding between Allen Walker and Gokudera. Hmmm Allen will need to open the new grey lens. No thank you, saving that for later part of the year and more important events. 
Gokudera Hayato reporting! Wardrobe cosplay again but hnghh is missing doing Hayato very much. Dig for a white top, old black cardigan and the blue tie. Found the belt chain and accessories in normal day out wardrobe. Bathe and took down the wig box, out you go Goku wig~
Got dressed quick and didn't even use concealer and highlights. Hurr~ So simple. Then sms-ed Kiyo at some point. She also suddenly going. Hahahah and Kitty BAR OUT AGAIN TODAY~ So happy. 
Ate lunch then dashed out only to come back and dig props box for Dunamis and take new Mika's batt. 
Grabbed Zera's cap and dashed out again. 
All the train came on time, slept the journey till Bayfront. 
Only when stepped out then realised that I have no clue where it is. Suppose to exit via Exit E. All I see is Gardens (must take Tulip shots later) and fields under construction. The other side however, tents and mass of youths. So there it must be. Walks walks walks and nope nope. They are all muggles and bgi sized people with boat paddles. Walks back to MRT station. Hahaha then texted Kiyo for some hope and courage. While walking around in circles deciding, a girl obviously going to the event looked at me then put her phone into her pocket and walked behind me. Omg I think she following me. I can do it! Lead the way and brave yourself for a follower. Lmao. It is so uncomfortable to walk past massive amount of big people. 

Finally reached the real event. Went to the stage area, and have to take off cap, mp3, lanyard take out dunamis cos that was a fast request for pictures. Lol bring on the KHR rabusss. Hurr~
Then Cheryl was beside me. But want to talk kept getting interrupted. In the end before I forget, I asked shamelessly for Gacktt's chocolate. Hahaha. Then she gave 1 for me and Kiyo too. Daww so nice of her. 
Then Skrei as Hanji came and hugged. Hahaha -dazed for a while- I forgot what event is like. 
Bump into more poeple, then they go to their camp area, I hunt around for fun things to look at. 

Thats when.... I saw KANAME queue-ing at the Bungee. Holy chance!!! Why I no doing Eren then can do some twin poses etc kayy nvm nvm nvm. My soul just exploded and making multiple spontaneous decisions and I don't know what else I was thinking off. Oh gosh. So, I approached him then waved shyly. Then an ang mo came and asked and handed him something. Apparently he can speak japanese, so he got stuck to holding KANAME's stuff when he is going up that Bungee. He became the translator too. Lmao. Last change just ask for a picture, suddenly I feel confident of my non-existent Japanese language skills. Asked him politely if a picture is okay. 
Ok this is it, I noticed with KNAME, his eyes is so big that eye contact and lock is soo easy. I feel like I am looking into his very soul. Lmao. He is such a fun and easy person, them eyes can tell you a lot. He smiled big big and say in broken but so cute English: Please wait (while pointing at the bungee behind him). I said OKAY!
Somehow just hearing him speak and talk like that at face to face proximity makes me feel quite pleased. 
Moved to the side cos have a feeling he will be on that side, and right on. But got back view pfft. But but he kept turning backwards to omg and waved at my camera. Dies dies. Kind of scared like Eren in SnK will flip 360 degrees on the Bungee. Lmao. But his 'whoa' when the device lift him up and he lost balance for a moment. Hnghhh go go EREN FIGHTO! Hahahaha. Then mass of other people began. He got off the bungee and decided to make way for him. Cmon guys he still wearing back his shoes and jacket looking for that ang mo guy, you all never make way. I feel like KANAME need a few bouncers. He is too nice to say no, however he did finally say he will go to the tent to sign and take pictures. I didnt even move, and turn 180 degrees to the line. Then a few minutes later, Kiyo an Kitty arrived. 
The Q is moving ever so slowly. Kiyo helped take a few shots of him in front, then we moved off to scout for people and maybe interesting things.

It seems like School Idol Project seem to be popular. A couple of AKB48 too. I miss cosplaying so much. 
Saw more SJCC peeps and then Sakiko and Ryan, then hmm who else. Oh yeah Stanley and Hong Zhu. I am sure there are more. But my cotton candy memory is... all fluffed.

Passed Mika to Kiyo or somehow Kiyo has Mika and Idk what to do he put his arms ard me then pat back vgxbugbvxnembxwcbeewj My right hands cant even find my pockets.

Suddenly we at Gong Cha and staring at Avalon. 

Won't be going for Day 2. Though I really wanted to go. Need to rest more from the durian, full day work makes it more tiring. Monday another full day and 2 jobs. I am so greedy, but what to do, need the cash for expensive city. Such sadness. 

It didn't rain! There were only dark clouds floating about in the sky. It rained heavily however on Day 2 today (from posts on dashboard).

Haven't cos-ed to Streetfest or I think now confirm its called J-obsession, for a really long time. Wore base from home, and.. didn't have time to finish up. Well, I could finish up at Popeyes but Kitty there, it will be extremely boring to be doing make up and somebody just nicely wait. Hahaha. Anyways, met Jo, Thel, Kuro and their photog before we head down to Popeyes. Camwhored a before and after with them.
Just had a small mashed potato and then rot the rest of the day talking at Starbucks with kitty.
Just see peeps and Hi and Bye. Also popcorn and other ppl and juniors. Hahaha MISSES EVENTS SO MUCH!
and OMG I MISSED CUTE NAOYA. Hurr~ totally forgot abt it.
Then its suddenly dinner and grabbed some bites at PS, and met Kiyo there.
The whole event is a jumble. Remembers much of TMRev and other bombastic songs. Yay~~
